At the beginning of a new year, our thoughts are turned to new goals and new dreams. I don’t know about you, but I love the idea of making new and exciting plans. I love brainstorming ideas, setting goals, and creating tracking spreadsheets (the accountant nerd in me is bound to come out.) It’s the best part of New Year’s Resolutions if you ask me. Execution? Well, that’s often a different story. Knowing that I’m never going to be able to reach my goals without a lot of bumps and detours along the way can really sap my motivation. Do you feel that way, too? I hope so, because I don’t like to think that I’m the only one who can’t predict the future.
