When I think of Valentine’s Day, I always think of cards. It’s a holiday where we pour our hearts out to those we love–usually in the form of a card and a sweet gift like chocolates, flowers or balloons. If you’re the mom of youngsters, it’s also the holiday for Valentine card boxes and cards. Have you seen the cute robot mailbox to make on Cricut Design space? I’m dying to make it.
The Valentine’s Day Card That Appeals to Adults
As much as I love the cute, sweet Valentine’s for children, I’m always looking for a card that appeals to adults–especially if it’s super easy to make. This Valentine’s Day card couldn’t be easier to make! Print it on a standard 8 1/2″x 11″ piece of paper, and fold it twice to create the card. The sentiment is simple, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”

Click To TweetThe Sweet Heart Pendant Banner for your Frame
As much as I love the easy “My Heart Soars When I’m With You” framed print, I knew that it would look so much cuter with a heart pendant banner along the top of the frame. I used my Cricut Access Premium to make the banner. I love the huge selection of cut files available from my Cricut Access membership, that make it so easy to make whatever my imagination desires.
For this project, I cut 7 plain pendants out of hot pink card stock, and 7 heart cut-out pendants out of peach card stock using my Cricut Die Cut Machine. Then I glued the two pendants together so the hot pink heart shows through the peach pendant. I finished the banner by taping each of the pendants on a length of twine, and then I taped the twine to the picture frame. It only took about 10 minutes to put it together.
If you’d like to access the Cricut Project, click here and it will take you to Circut Design Space and to the heart pendant project. Once you’re in the Cricut Design space, click the “Make It” button in the top right hand corner of Design Space. Then choose the number of pendants you want to cut depending on the size frame. For my frame, I cut 7. Then click “apply” and all the pendants will show on your cut sheets. Click continue and follow the directions to cut your pendants.
